...A Marvelous Night for a Moondance ...
This magical night at the Greek Theater, my favorite venue, turned out to be despite threatening weather, which held for us. He is a legend and a true master, and this is my second time seeing The Wiz in concert. At this concert as well, he created music instead of just playing it. Some concerts you go to, you see performers playing music, my friend said the first time I went. His music always has a romantic, sexy feel about it, and I could listen to him all night long. Together, he surrounds himself with amazing musicians, and they create astonishing music. He also played some of his songs from his Astral Weeks album and other CDs as well, including great classics like 'Brown-Eyed Girl', 'Moondance', and 'Gloria'. Knowing I would have to wait to see him again was my only disappointment when it was all over. The Greek Theater was well suited to his concert, even though we were up on the side Terraces, the seats were fabulous, and the acoustics were terrific. I hope he comes back real soon!
